Magnum Taxis case study
Six years as the full digital partner: site, booking system with card payments, chatbot, local search and paid media.
Scroll-stopping short-form videos, campaign hooks, edits and content systems built for the feeds people actually watch.
Best for launches, offers, founder-led content and brands that need a sharper social presence.
Who does the work: Shabaaz Yaqub (Stoke-on-Trent) and Dom McCaw (Manchester)
We plan, film and edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook. Every video starts with one hook, a moment people recognise in the first seconds, and we build the shoot around it. The formats that have worked for our clients include staged food tension, challenges, spelling mistakes that start comment threads, product-led chaos and local POV humour.
We film on location. Dom McCaw shoots and edits from Manchester, home of Dough Club and Shakedown. Shabaaz Yaqub plans and directs from Stoke-on-Trent, where Magnum Taxis gets around 15 videos a month. For shoots further away, we travel and agree the cost before the shoot.
We also create content for DJS Taxis in Scunthorpe.
Every engagement includes these outputs — designed to be executed, not just admired.
We learn what you sell and who buys it, then agree a hook and a shot list for each video.
We film at your venue or wherever the story is. A Content Shoot takes up to 90 minutes at one location.
Vertical 9:16 edits with captions, cut for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with one round of changes per video.
On monthly work, we check what people watch, save and share, then plan the next batch around it.
A familiar delivery moment becomes a public-facing food conflict in the first seconds.
A milkshake mishap turns the product into the whole visual joke.
A local bus moment creates instant recognition for people who understand the place and character.
Six years as the full digital partner: site, booking system with card payments, chatbot, local search and paid media.
Short-form videos for two Manchester food brands and a Stoke-on-Trent taxi firm, with the hook behind each one.
One shoot, three captioned vertical videos, ready to post in five working days. Book online or enquire first.
“They've run our marketing for six years, the websites, the ads, the app, and it's the videos people mention when they get in one of our cars. You give them 90 minutes and it just appears, done properly.”
“One idea of theirs put our pizzas in front of more people than we thought possible. The bit I actually rate is the boring bit: planned, filmed in an hour and a half, and back ready to post while it's still relevant.”
“We show them the product, they come back with hooks we'd never think of. The shake videos went everywhere and filming barely cost us an afternoon.”
Common questions about social content.
Content strategy, short-form video concepts, shoot plans, editing direction, hooks and captions, and monthly content batches — every output built for the feeds your audience already watches.
We design concepts for the feeds people actually watch — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and feed-first social formats — with hooks and edits tuned to each platform's attention pattern.
Both. We build shoot plans and creative direction, then handle editing direction so the final short-form videos land the hook in the first seconds.
In monthly content batches, structured around a content strategy so every video, hook and caption works as a system rather than one-off posts.
It depends on how many videos and shoots you need, so we price each project after a short call. To try us first, the Content Shoot is a fixed-price package: one shoot and three edited videos in five working days.
On location, at your venue or wherever the story is. We are based in Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent. For shoots further away, we agree the travel cost before the shoot.
